The Nor‐Cal Retired Coaches Association (RCA) is organizing its tenth annual Scholarship Golf Tournament to raise funds for scholarships for graduating high school student athletes to assist them in their post‐secondary educational endeavors.

The past nine Nor-Cal RCA golf tournaments have all been tremendous successes. All the tournaments have been held at Riverview Golf and Country Club. The first tournament was held the last Monday in July, 2014, with 138 participants. The July 2015 tournament topped out with a full field of 144 players and the 2016 tournament welcomed 135 golfers. The 2017 tournament had a total of 132 golfers. Our 5th Annual 2018 tournament had an amazing 140 golfers. In 2019, we brought in 136 golfers. We could not hold the event in 2020 due to Covid. The 7th Annual Tournament in 2021 proved to be just as successful as previous tournaments. The 2022 golf tournament was a gangbuster with a total of 152 golfers, completing 18 holes in 5-1/2 hours! Incredible!! Our 2023 tournament didn’t disappoint! With 164 players, we were a little slower on the course but we made it and everyone had a great time! This four-person scramble tournament welcomes both men and women golfers. With a variety of divisions which may include a flight 1 men’s division, a flight 2 men’s division and a mixed division. Prizes for the winners of each division include choices of golf rounds at some of the premiere Northern California golf courses.
On the course there are many contests including KP's on the par threes including the possibility of winning a car, donated by Taylor Motors on the difficult par 3 hole #10. The contests on the course are sponsored by our Gold level sponsorships with individual winners awarded Titleist ProV1 golf balls.
The Nor-Cal RCA is truly "STILL IN THE GAME".
